All BTD6 Heroes Ranked
It can be hard to find a good BTD6 hero. Here are all the heroes, ranked!
What each hero does:
So it might be a bit unfair to just rank all of them since they all have their strengths and weaknesses (except quincy, who stinks in every scenario). So ill tell you what each hero’s good at THEN rank them.
Quincy:
A pretty bad hero. Bad damage, pierce, accuracy, and much more. You should never use him unless you’re starting out and you have no other hero unlocked yet. He’s like a 2-0-0 dart monkey.
Strengths: Spaced red-green bloons
Weaknesses: Everything else
Gwendolin:
Not a good hero, but not bad either. He has a decent ability at level 3 that can really save your life against everything until ceramics, which is like a temporary wall of fire. His level 10 ability can help on ceramic spam rounds like round 76, 78 and 63. Also a cheap way to pop leads!
Strengths: Lead layer, slightly spaced weak bloons, all bloons (level 3 ability), ceramic spam (level 10 ability)
Weaknesses: ZOMGs, DDTs, BADs,
Striker Jones:
Actually a pretty decent hero. His level 3 ability can help when dealing with large groups of ceramics, and his base attack isn’t bad. He also buffs bombs and mortars, which can really help if you use the 2-0-4 bomb.
Strengths: Grouped bloons
Weaknesses: Spaced but strong bloons, MOAB-Class Bloons
Obyn Greenfoot:
A pretty good hero. His base attack seeks and deals some heavy damage. A great way to deal with spaced but strong bloons but bad against grouped bloons due to his low pierce. His abilities, however, are great against all non-moabs.
Strengths: Spaced strong bloons, lots of bloons (level 10 ability)
Weaknesses: Grouped bloons without abilities, MOAB-Class Bloons
Captain Churchill:
An incredibly powerful hero. He obliterates MOABs with MOAB barrage, and regular bloons with his base attack and if on a low level, his level 3 ability. His machine gun deals with the spaced but strong bloons easily, when his base attack deals with the grouped ones. Also the best lategame hero! Sadly, he costs about $2000 in-game.
Strengths: MOABs, Spaced Bloons, Lategame, Grouped bloons (all of these only apply once he’s above level 10!)
Weaknesses: Everything except grouped bloons (before level 5)
Benjamin:
A great hero. If you need a hero and you’re just starting out, he might just be the best hero for you to get first. He gets you lots of money, and when he’s at level 7 he sends bloon trojans that make it so that a random bloon spawns no children when killed. He summons those once every three or four seconds and can affect MOABs, so that’s a great ability. Syphon funding makes it so that every bloon that’s about to spawn loses one layer, and you also get 2x cash per pop. It may not seem like much, but ZOMGs will turn in BFBs and ceramic spam round turn into rainbow spam rounds, which make them more than twice as easy to kill. He also makes banks about 2x more effective! He’s considered the best hero in a boss event, too!
Strengths: N/A
Weaknesses: N/A
Ezili:
A lategame queen. At level 19, her MOAB Hex can affect BADs and can kill them in 20 seconds, regardless of their health. When it comes to early and mid-game, she isn’t exactly the best hero.
Strengths: MOAB-Class Bloons
Weaknesses: Regular Bloons
Pat Fusty:
A powerful hero, especially in CHIMPS. He deals some decent damage against grouped bloons, and is great against MOABs. A good hero that can deal with both regular bloons and MOABs.
Strengths: MOABs (level 7+), regular bloons (level 5+)
Weaknesses: spaced bloons bloons (if on level 1)
Adora:
Personally, I don’t exactly see what’s so good about her. I’ve tried her, and she can’t even solo 50 MOABs on level 20 without abilities. If you’re starting out, get Sauda and the other good heroes before Adora, since she costs and Sauda is better in most scenarios. Adora can come in handy on maps like infernal due to Sauda not being able to attack the bloons due to her range. Adora might not be the best, but is still good to have. If you want her, I recommend getting other heroes first.
Strengths: MOABs and BFBs (level 20 Ball of Light), Grouped Bloons
Weaknesses: Spaced bloons, ZOMGs, DDTs, and BADs
Admiral Brickell:
A good hero, but only if there’s water on that map. You can’t place him down without water, so he isn’t a very good hero for you to get if you’re just starting out. His pistol fires every half a second or so if you get him on a good level, and deals some high damage, which makes him great against spaced bloons. His sea mines aren’t too bad, either. Now his Mega Mines are absolute beasts. They deal 4000 damage, 100 pierce, 5 second stun AND 4 round lifespan. At level 20, his mega mines deal 20,000 damage. His level 3 ability is pretty bad unless you’re playing a map like flooded valley.
Strengths: Spaced and grouped bloons, MOAB-Class Bloons
Weaknesses: Strong grouped bloons
Etienne:
He starts off as a flying dart monkey but then upgrades into a flying fortress. A great lategame hero, especially in CHIMPS or Impoppable because he can carry the lategame rounds with his UCAV. Unfortunately, he levels up pretty slowly, so an energizer might come in handy. His drone swarm isn’t exactly that good, but can actually save your life.
Strengths: Spaced Bloons, MOAB-Class Bloons (UCAV)
Weaknesses: Grouped Bloons (Low Level), Early Game
Sauda:
She might just be the best hero in the whole of BTD6. She deals some good damage, attacks swiftly and has built-in camo detection. Her level 10 ability can pretty much destroy every bloon on screen (except MOAB-Class Bloons), which is useful on ceramic spam rounds. She’s also cheap and can be placed down as a starting hero, which makes her even better. However, she has two weaknesses: Leads and her range. Her range is like pat fusty. Terrible range, which is a real problem on maps like infernal, where there’s no area to put her where bloons enter her range.
Strengths: All bloons except leads
Weaknesses: Leads, maps where bloons don’t enter her range
Psi:
A pretty unused hero, and i see why. He isn’t bad, but isn’t that good when comparing him to heroes like Sauda. Psi is basically a Druid of the Jungle. Once he’s at level 20, unlike the Druid of the Jungle, he can instakill ZOMGs but doesn’t lay a finger on BADs.
Strengths: Spaced Bloons
Weaknesses: Grouped Bloons, MOAB-Class Bloons (Low Level)
Ranking:
No.1: Sauda
Sauda is a great hero. She can pretty much kill every single bloon, and can carry the game (but can’t kill leads) until about round 50. Crazy DPS, but poor range, so she doesn’t work on some maps.
No.2: Benjamin
Benjamin can get you lots of cash, and he pretty much solves your MOAB problems with Bloon Trojan.
No.3: Etienne
A great hero, especially for CHIMPS and Impoppable because he can carry lategame.
No.4: Pat Fusty
A great hero that can help especially in CHIMPS. He’s a weaker version of Sauda, but he’s way better against MOABs than Sauda.
No.5: Adora
A powerful and nice hero to get, but isn’t great for grinding.
No.6: Admiral Brickell
A powerful hero. Insanely powerful. His only downside(s) is grouped strong bloons and the fact that you need water to place him down.
No.7: Captain Churchill
He’s a powerful hero that deals good damage to all bloons, and is great at lategame. However, he costs a lot.
No.8: Psi
Best used if you struggle against ZOMG spam in later rounds. Other than that, he’s a 0-3-0 druid.
No.9: Ezili
A legend when it comes to lategame BADs, but isn’t that good when it comes to a regular game instead of freeplay.
No.10: Obyn Greenfoot
A good free hero that specializes in popping spaced bloons.
No.11: Striker Jones
A pretty good hero if you use Mortars and Bombs a lot. His level 3 ability is pretty good against ceramics, especially in ceramic spam rounds.
No.12: Gwendolyn
A good way to pop leads, and his level 3 ability is like a temporary wall of fire.
No.13: Quincy
A bad hero. He fails to hit anything above greens. If you want to know what he’s like, imagine a 2-0-0 dart monkey.
