How to win a Server War
For vanilla/slightly modded (e.g custom bows, armor, food, blocks) server wars only!
Step 1: Gather
First, you’ll need to gather resources, players, allies, blocks, potions, food and all the things essential for attacking and survival. Be sure to collect items to summon withers, TNT and that kind of stuff.
Step 2: Land
The second thing you’ll need to do is to have to build towers, bases and all that kind of stuff and link them together. That way, if an enemy is at an area, you can head to your base there and you have a base to attack them from. This also means they have to defeat your bases before closing in. In case enemies use it as their own base, add a self-destruct feature that can only be accessed from your own base.
Step 3: Plan
You’ll need to plan an attack on the enemies – depending on what base they have, the terrain you’ll need to cross and things like that. Withers deal massive damage to the surroundings and players, just make sure you flee from the withers. TNT is also powerful, just don’t use it on blast-resistant blocks. For wooden bases, you can easily set it alight with a flint and steel or fire charge. Same with wool, leaves and all those flammable blocks. Or would you rather create a redstone flying machine that blows up when it comes in contact with a block (the enemy base)?
Step 4: Attack
Attacking before the enemy does is a great move, just make sure you win. If the enemy still has better stuff than you, collect more resources until you’re more powerful than the enemy. It’s recommended to spawn withers at the enemy base as they deal heavy damage to the base and players. Or would you rather create a flying machine attached with TNT and observers so when it hits a block (the enemy base) it blows up? The first attack is meant to cut down their supplies and damage their base.
Step 5: Eradicate
The final step is commence an all-out attack. Bring a lot of people to attack the enemy base, and end it once and for all. Spawn many withers while you’re there, and kill any enemies on sight. Throw down TNT to make the destruction of the base faster, and let the withers damage it even more. After that, spawn tons of withers and go around the base to prevent anyone from leaving. Let the withers finish the rest of, and if they fail, you can always spawn more or fight them yourself.
