Minecraft 1.19

1.19 is out! The wild update just got released on June 7, 2022! It adds more to the caves, swamps and, well stuff like that!

Swamps:

1.19 greatly expands to the swamps (unfortunately they didn’t add shrek)! Frogs, mangroves, and mud was added!

Frogs:

Frogs are a new mob that spawn in the mangrove. They croak and eat baby slimes and magma cubes. While they seem interesting, they have little use.

Mangroves:

Mangroves are a new biome added in 1.19! They have mangrove trees, mud, and look pretty mangroovey! They have mangrove trees, which have a bnew wood, mangrove wood!

Mud

Mud is a brand-new block added to minecraft! It’s quite unique and can fit into a lot of themes.

Caves and Cliffs

1.19 also expands to the cave update, adding the deep dark (a dangerous underground biomes with unique loot).

Others:

Music disc 5 was added.

Boats with chests were added. Pretty self-explanatory

Allays were added. They pick up dropped items and give them to you

Recovery compasses point to the location of your last death.

Goat horns play a sound.

Swift Sneak enchantment was added

Darkness is a new status effect
