Mistakes in Minecraft you probably make
Minecraft has so many possibilities. That the chances of making mistakes incredibly high. This article will talk about some of the most common mistakes which little people know about.
No.6: Using diamond tools all the time
Diamond is a great resource. It’s strong, powerful and fast. But it doesn’t score first place… Gold does. Gold tools mine the fastest, but have little durability. If you’re rich, you might consider filling shulker boxes with enchanted gold pickaxes. Another thing about gold is that you’re likely going to get better enchantments on your tool on an enchanting table compared to other minerals. However, gold weapons and armor is absolutely terrible.
No.5: Keeping things on you
If players on your world don’t or can’t steal, only bring essential things when leaving your base. For example, if you’re going to the nether, only bring things like tools, armor and weapons (that you can afford to lose), food, and blocks.
No.4: Using ONLY snow golems
Snow golems are cheap, and can deal heavy knockback without being harmed. However, they deal ZERO damage. Zero. The best way to make these things ACTUALLY useful is by having their snowballs shoot through fire on netherrack. I found this out a year and a half ago (or something like that) when playing around with the physics. You should end up with a flaming fireball. Any enemy which dares face a flaming snowball will (no, not get wet!) get burned!
No.3: Snowballs are cheap and decent when in the nether
Snowballs are cheap. Really cheap. All you need is a snow biome and you practically have millions of snowballs. Bring them to the nether for the most cost-effective range damage against blazes! Just one problem though – inventory space. But that shouldn’t be too much of a problem if you followed No.5!
No.2: Sweet Berries
Sweet berries. Most people see this as an absolutely terrible source of food, but as someone who started a survival world in the taiga, I learnt just how overpowered it is. Find a few bushes, harvest some berries, and use them as a way to damage intruders. When the berries are ripe, collect them! Add half of them for even more defense, and eat the other half! Continue for a long time… you’ll have hundreds, and even thousands in no time. It’s the most cost-efficient minecraft food in my opinion!
No.1: Blocks
Most people forget that when in combat, you can place blocks. Remember, most mobs can’t place nor break blocks, making them extremely overpowered in PvE combat. Covering yourself in blocks makes you immortal, while trapping a mob in blocks makes sure it can’t do anything.
