Recovery Compasses in Minecraft
Recovery compasses were just added in 1.19! Here’s what it does:
Recovery compasses are super op!!1! Just kidding! They point to the location of your nearest death. But believe me, its the total opposite of cost effective! You need echo shards, which are found in the deep dark (which is pretty rare), and NETHERITE (yes you heard me right.). But you may be wondering, why is netherite here??? I don’t see it in the crafting recipe. Well, you need a lodestone compass, which is made of a compass and lodestone, and lodestone is made of netherite. Anyway, here are some uses for it:
•Die where you want the compass to point to so you can find your base. I mean hey, its cheaper than a crafting a few lodestones (well not really, but it’ll pay off if you do it a lot of times!)
•Finding your lost stuff when you die and didn’t pay attention to the coordinates
•Die at your base so it points to your house. Honestly, a lodestone compass is cheaper, or better yet, make a base at spawn so a normal compass points there or take down your base coordinates.
Now, I’m sure there are lots of other uses (although there’s a good chance there aren’t), but I can’t really think of them. It should also be noted that recovery compasses are completely useless in hardcore mode, so be sure to scam all your friends with it! Just like in real life, recovery compasses are made of eight echo shards and a lodestone (I might be wrong about the real-life part).
Also, if your friends have no idea what a recovery compass is, be sure to prank them by telling them that it points to buried treasure in the end! This article is pretty short and there really isn’t much to talk about, so here are 5 THINGS YOU DIDN’T KNOW ABOUT Waxed Lightly Weathered Cut Copper Stairs!
•Waxed lightly weathered cut copper stairs looks like this:
•It is a type of stair
•It has the color green
•It is a block
•It is 41 characters long
This article STILL isn’t long enough, so I’m just gonna talk about the Echo Shard, which is used to craft the recovery compass.
So echo shards can be found in Ancient Cities (you know, those underground skulk fortresses in the deep dark). There’s a chance of wardens and stuff, but the loot is pretty good (if you’re looking for echo shards)! Plus, they have natural redstone circuits!
